Rhinology

Rhinology is the study of disorders of the nasal cavity and sinuses. We provide evaluation and treatment of disorders such as sinus infections, nasal polyps, chronic congestion, nose bleeds and loss of smell.

For your safety and comfort we use the latest technology including minimally invasive techniques and image guidance. When appropriate, we use balloon sinuplasty, a minimally invasive technique for sinus surgery. Image guidance refers to 3D cat scans that we use in the operating room. The cat scan is linked to our surgical instruments and shows us exactly where we are operating in the sinuses. This technology enhances patient safety and is typically used in difficult revision cases or when there are polyps.
